Kota Blue

The color blue in context of kota stone mean a mix of sea green  and very light sky blue color. Stones quarried from Kota mines are not exact the blue in color, actually, they are either bluish grey or bluish green. But in the early era, people were not enough educated to name it properly so they started to call it Blue. They are not electric or vibrant blues. Vibrant and sharp electric blues are always very dynamic while kotah patthar is pastel blue. People avoid sharp blue when decorating food, because this suppresses appetite. Vibrant blue used together with some hot colours for example bright Yellow and Red, this may create high impact, dynamic designs.
